A new Genshin Impact leak shows how the upcoming five-star character Neuvillette looks when he’s equipped with different Gliders. This five-star character is one of the two playable units that have already been announced for the upcoming version 4.1. He will be joined by the game’s first Cryo catalyst user named Wriothesley.
Gliding is a special mechanic that allows Travelers to float through the air. To activate this feature, all players have to do is press their jumping button when high up in the air. So far Genshin Impact has released multiple different gliders which, besides their cosmetic value don’t provide any additional stats.
A new leak posted by Twitter user Teyvattabloid2 has revealed how the upcoming Hydro catalyst user Neuvillette looks when he’s equipped with different types of Gliders. Out of the eight presented Gliders, fans claim that the recently introduced Wings of Merciful fits Neuvillette’s design the most. This makes sense considering that this Wind Glider was introduced with Genshin Impact version 4.0 and it can be obtained by reaching Reputation Level 10 in the newly added Fontaine region. Reputation XP can be obtained by completing requests, bounties, various quests, or simply through exploring the world of Teyvat. Besides Gliders, Reputation rewards can also include Food Recipes, Namecards, Forging Blueprints, and many additional useful items.
Neuvillette is one of the most powerful characters in the Fontaine region which was also proven by one of the cutscenes in which he easily defeated Childe who is one of the eleven Fatui Harbingers. Some rumors claim that he’s stronger than the Fontaine Archon herself which is unusual considering that Archons are usually the most powerful characters in their respective regions.
When it comes to his power on the field, previous leaks have revealed that Neuvillette has a special type of Charged Attack which can be used by extending the charging time. It allows him to perform a powerful Hydro beam attack that deals tons of AoE damage, but it also causes Neuvillette to lose HP while performing it. Luckily, this debuff is capped at 50% which should not be an issue since most Hydro characters stack large amounts of HP.
While HoYoverse is yet to confirm his party role, Travelers think that he will probably be the main DPS character for most team compositions in Genshin Impact. In order to get more information about this Hydro user, players will have to wait a week or two for HoYoverse to host the live stream event for Genshin Impact version 4.1.
