Point guards are the most undersized players in NBA 2K24, meaning they will have additional expectations. They need to be fast, excellent at dribbling the ball, pro passers, and capable of stopping the fastest and most talented gamers on the other side of the screen.
The mistake players often make when making a point guard build is that they try to focus on doing either too much or not enough. It can be tempting to make a pure three-point shooter at the spot in NBA 2K24 but this will result in a slower player with poor defense and weaker ball handling. With Ball Handling at 98 and the rest of these stats, players are able to get a Hall of Fame tanking in every dribbling badge. Prepare to size up opponents and break ankles. If the defender is too solid, the 91 in Pass Accuracy will give players the fastest animation in the game. Teams looking for point guards will love this setup.
To use this build correctly on offense, size up the opposing guard at the top of the arc. If they make a move forward, blow by them and go for a layup, passing out of the animation to the open man if a defender comes in to help. On a screen or when breaking their ankles, these stats are more than capable of scoring open threes and mid-range shots.
On defense, players will have access to Gold Clamps, Pick Dodger, and Fast Feet badges in addition to a Hall of Fame Off-Ball Pest badge. Don’t try to steal or go for risky blocks, simply stay on the opponent and lock them down. The best point guards in the game can’t even compete with this build since it can score on every level, pass the ball instantly, and defend any other kind of point guard.
