A Genshin Impact player has shared an impressive concept in which they portrayed the five Archons as Mafia members. There are seven Archons in the world of Teyvat, one for each of the seven major regions and their main job is to protect their respective nations.
So far, Genshin Impact has introduced only five Archons, meaning Travelers have yet to meet the rulers of the Pyro nation Natlan and the Cryo region Snezhnaya. The most recent major update has introduced Fontaine’s Archon named Furina, also known as the God of Wisdom.
A Reddit user by the name rsuzuki has created an interesting artwork in which they’ve redesigned the five currently known Genshin Impact Archons to look like Mafia members. Overall, fans seem to love the concept as the whole thread gathered almost 3k upvotes on the game’s official subreddit. This does not come as a surprise considering that Archons are some of the most popular characters in Genshin Impact‘s community. One of the reasons behind this is probably that through the game’s Archon Quests, Travelers got to find out more about these unique characters. Fans have already started theorizing what role each of the Archons would have within the Mafia.
The Dendro Archon Nahida would apparently be the head of this operation since she’s also known as the God of Wisdom. She arrived during the Sumeru arc where she was revealed to be one of the smartest characters in all of Teyvat. Due to his witty behavior, the Anemo Archon Venti would handle public relations.
Most fans in the comment section agree that the ruthless Inazuma Archon Raiden Shogun would be the main enforcer in the group. Also known as Ei, Raiden Shogun is probably overall the most popular character in Genshin Impact, which is also proven by her sales numbers as each of her banner appearances is currently ranked very high on the all-time revenue list. The Geo Archon Zhongli would be the spine of the group, acting as Nahida’s main advisor since he’s known as the oldest Archon.
The official storyline has confirmed that Zhongli is around 6,000 years old, which makes him the most experienced character in this group. The recently introduced Furina would be perfect for the role of a mob lawyer since she’s also known as the God of Justice. She even demonstrated her skills during one of the recent trials against the magician duo Lyney and Lynette.
