Baldur’s Gate 3’s latest patch is causing issues for some players. Patch 3 was recently released for the popular fantasy RPG, but unfortunately, a few people are reporting that there are even more bugs and issues present in Baldur’s Gate 3 than before.

The team over at Larian Studios has been on a roll with the amount of updates the title has been receiving. Each one has resolved an issue that affected the player experience or even addressed feedback from the community. The latest Baldur’s Gate 3 patch gave players the option to change their character’s appearance, voice, and pronouns, allowing them to customize at camp. While a majority of the patches have improved the overall state of the game, this recent one is causing some frustration.

Baldur’s Gate 3 fan eSpasm took to Reddit to collect and display all the problems and issues that the BG3 community is facing after the release of Patch 3. The list itself is extensive and is filled with bugs ranging from minor to game-breaking. Some of the more major bugs that players are encountering can be found in Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3, specifically not being able to progress in Wyll’s storyline. A few other characters like Gale and Dammon are bugged as well, causing some players to get frustrated with the title.

Many people are curious how there have been so many issues introduced with the update since Larian Studios delayed Patch 3 to do more testing on it. The list itself doesn’t even showcase every community concern as eSpasm has stated that they’ve stopped updating the list due to being unable to keep up with comments. There are a few changes that were also intentional that players want to see reverted, such as the new shared stash feature that forces companions to have a collective inventory space. With the community voicing their frustration with this latest update, some are intending to stay away from the title until changes are made.

Larian Studios has been pretty responsive in addressing feedback about Baldur’s Gate 3 in regard to players wanting a certain feature or fix implemented. While Patch 3 introduced problems for some players, it also did good as well. Frame rate issues in Act 3 of the Lower City have been resolved, along with BG3 now having Mac support implemented. Given its history of listening to fan feedback about Baldur’s Gate 3, players hope that Larian Studios will implement fixes for some of the issues added with Patch 3 soon.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is out now for PC and PS5, and an Xbox Series X/S version is expected to launch in late 2023.
