Highlights
- The Furina and Baizhu double banner in Genshin Impact is the third most popular banner in the game’s history after one week, based on revenue data from iOS devices in China.
- Lady Furina has been responsible for over 96% of the banner’s overall sales, setting a new Genshin Impact record.
- Furina is a must-have Hydro user in the game, with a unique kit that allows her to provide constant support even when she’s not on the field and deals tons of Hydro damage with her offensive form.
A Genshin Impact chart has revealed how well the current double banner featuring Furina and Baizhu performed after one week, in terms of revenue. Every update in the game is divided into two parts, each offering a different set of limited characters and usually including two five-stars and three four-star units.
The Furina and Baizhu double banner arrived on November 8, meaning players had a little over a week to pull for either of these characters. As a new Genshin Impact Archon, Lady Furina has gathered a lot of attention in the community since her first story appearance during the first Fontaine update.
Genshin Impact‘s double banners allow players to pull for two different five-star characters at the same time. HoYoverse’s updates usually feature at least one new five-star character, which means that the limited banners always include two or three re-runs. A popular Genshin Impact revenue website known as GenshinLab has revealed how well the currently featured five-star characters performed after one week. According to the post, the Furina and Baizhu banner is the third most popular banner in the game’s history after one week, but it should be noted that the data only represents iOS devices in China. These numbers came as a surprise to many fans, considering that Genshin Impact‘s revenue declined after HoYoverse released Honkai: Star Rail in late April 2023.
It’s safe to assume that the main reason behind this banner’s success is the fact that it included Fontaine’s Hydro Archon Focalors, better known as Lady Furina. In fact, a recent revenue report has revealed that Furina has been responsible for over 96% of the banner’s overall sales, which is a new Genshin Impact record. Besides being one of the most complex characters in the game’s main storyline so far, Furina has also proven to be a must-have Hydro user on the battlefield.
She is a new Genshin Impact support who can adapt to almost every team composition that needs a decent Hydro application. Furina’s unique kit allows her to swap between her Pneuma and Ousia forms, which affects her role in the team. Furina’s Pneuma form allows her to provide constant support to nearby active characters even when she’s not on the field.
In contrast, Furina’s Ousia form is much more offensive and the elemental lifeforms she creates with her Elemental Skill will attack nearby enemies, dealing tons of Hydro damage. Travelers who are yet to pull for Furina still have enough time to gather some precious Primogems since her banner is set to expire around November 28.
